The FreeLite S is dedicated to the Elinchrom Ranger battery-powered packs. Smaller, lighter, and more portable, the Free Lite S retains all the advantages of its "bigger brother" lampheads. The Free Lite S features a 16ft, low resistance power cable, modeling light switch and safety fuse.

In addition, Elinchrom's patented "double bayonet" mounting ring assures full compatibility with Elinchrom’s extensive line of reflectors, softboxes, and light banks. The Free Lite S uses the traditional, longer-life standard duration flashtube, preferred for still life, portrait, and general applications. It features a 2400Ws standard duration flashtube with a 100W modeling lamp.
