Molded of clear polycarbonate to provide seamless construction and corrosion proof performance. This "Clearly Superior" design provides full view of the camcorder, control functions, and assurance the system is safe, allowing you to see if the case is sealed.

The base removes instantly with a unique toggle clamp for traveling or attaching of the optional Pro Video-Lite II battery pack. The handle assembly detaches from the housing by removal of just two nuts for packing.

Housing includes a mirror to allow use of about 80% of the camera viewing screen. Housing measures 7.5" wide, or 12" wide with the removable handle bar attached; 8.5" high including the removable base; and 7.5" deep including knobs and port. Weight above water is only nine pounds.

Space is provided to allow use of the optional Sony VCL-0630S wide conversion lens and optional Sony NP-FS31 battery in the #6037.79 housing. #6037.79 housing accepts NP-FM30, NP-FM50, and NP-FM70 optional batteries from Sony.
