Housing measures 6" wide, or 10.5" wide with the removable handle bar attached; 8" high including the removable base; and 9.5" deep including knobs and port. Weight above water is less than ten pounds.

Molded of clear polycarbonate to provide seamless construction and corrosion proof performance. This "Clearly Superior" design provides full view of the camcorder, control functions, and assurance the system is safe, allowing you to see if the case is sealed.

The base removes instantly with a unique toggle clamp for traveling or attaching of the optional Pro Video-Lite II battery pack. The handle assembly detaches from the housing by removal of just two nuts for packing.

Super Eye magnifier for the optical viewfinder is included, and space is provided to allow use of the optional Sony NP-FP50 and NP-FP70 batteries. Optional external #9290.94 Side Mount Mirror can be added.

Sony wide angle lens #0625S can be installed internally, or optional UWL-100 wide angle lens from Inon, Epoque or #58070 Sea & Sea conversion wide lens attach directly to the outside of the port. Many other housings for these cameras can not utilize the bigger optional battery packs, provide choice of either the view screen or magnified viewfinder, or include the URPro filter. The Ikelite design leaves almost nothing to be desired for safety and capability.
