The converter is equipped with a built in PCB that connects a Canon SLR with the SEA&SEA YS-series of strobes using the camera's TTL flash adjustment to control the amount of light put out by the strobe. The converter allows quick switching underwater between the TTL and manual modes. You can use the TTL correction dial after checking the results of a shot in the LCD monitor to adjust the amount of strobe light for the next shot. Because the converter comes with two separate strobe connectors, you can use the advanced automatic TTL flash adjustment with two strobes.

* Manual (switch) means manual function of the strobe and can vary according to the strobe.
* When you connect two strobes to the converter, use of the same type of strobe is recommended.
* The YS-series of strobes will not fire if the battery in the converter has run down.
* In order to connect the strobe to the converter, the 5-pin Sync Cord/N (Product No. 17100) is required (sold separately).
* The converter is not compatible with any other SLR's or strobes other than SEA&SEA's.
