Mite-Lite - Durability and Power in an Ultra-Compact Light

This pocket-sized powerhouse brings NRG quality and lighting power to even the smallest of cameras. Ideal for fill and interview applications – yet powerful enough for distance shots to 70 feet – the tiny Mite-Lite packs a powerful lighting punch. Milled from aircraft aluminum, the virtually indestructible Mite-Lite weighs a mere 5.7 oz. The Mite-Lite’s high-efficiency quartz lamps utilize dichroic light multipliers to generate a beam brighter than many full-sized lights of far greater wattages.These lamps are available in 20, or 35 watts, and last an amazing 2,000 hrs.

Highlite - The perfect compact fill and interview light

By using two high-efficiency quartz lamps the Highlite can be quickly adapted to a variety of lighting situations. Select 20, 35 or 55 watts of smooth, even lighting at the flick of a switch. The Highlite is ruggedly constructed from aircraft aluminum, yet small and light-weight enough to fit many compact camcorders.

Versalite - Affordable AC/DC Light for Mid to Full Sized Camcorders

A great choice for the quality-conscious consumer, or institutional user. The Versalite provides outstanding AC or DC lighting performance with amazing versatility. A wide selection of lamps (20- 100W DC and 150-250W AC) is available to adapt the Versalite to a wide variety of lighting situations. The light is solidly constructed from finned aluminum for years of reliable service. Included with the light is NRG’s Prismatic dispersion grid which increases subject comfort, and creates a smooth light pattern that is free of “ hot spots”.The unique Clik-Tilt™ mechanism allows the lighthead to ratchet up or down for instant bounce capability. (Note: The Versalite operates only from AC or cigarette-lighter output. No 4-pin cable termination is available on this model.)

Versalite Professional - High-Efficiency professional AC/DC On-Camera Light

Our most popular AC/DC light. WIth a wide range of lamps (20-100W DC and 150- 250W AC), and available light control and effects grids (see pg. 35), the Versalite Professional delivers the ultimate in on-camera lighting flexibility. Its rugged milled aircraft-aluminum lighthead features a unique interchangeable power-cable system that allows direct connection to AC and DC power sources without the use of plugend adapters (see pg. 34 for available cable sets). The unique Clik-Tilt™ mechanism allows the lighthead to ratchet up or down for instant bounce capability.

Varalux Professional - Adjustable To Respond To Rapidly Changing Light Conditions

One of the most advanced on-camera light made. The revolutionary NRG Varalux Professional combines the ruggedness, efficiency, and versatility of NRG’s Versalite Professional with a sophisticated electronic light management system. The Varalux Professional accepts DC lamps from 20 to 100W and allows them to be instantly adjusted from 10-100% of the lamp’s power. This makes it the ideal light for applications where varying distances and intensities are required because the perfect light level can be chosen without removing hot lamps or fussing with diffusion filters. The Varalux Professional uses NRG’s LightGate™ technology which virtually eliminates color shift and conserves precious battery power.
