Gitzo introduces a completely new aluminium monopod that feature a new aluminium 1,2 mm tube with ALR.
The new tube is the best compromise between lightweight and torsion rigidity, and stands in the market as a top quality and performance monopod against all other competitors the feature a lightweight but less stable 0,8 – 1 mm aluminium tube.
For the first time Gitzo offers a aluminium monopod that features ALR system like 6X and basalt monopods for faster operation and accurate height adjusting.

Anti Leg Rotation system is now available on Carbon fiber, Basalt and Aluminum (GM2340 only) models. Thanks to ALR, monopods are now incredibly fast to operate and the height can be easily and precisely adjusted. The new 1,2 ALR aluminium tube features a high quality black brushed matt finish for increased locking power and to minimise light reflection. All new monopods come with a convenient anti-dust bag for storage and packing.
