330 or 730

I hope you can help me with this. I am trying to decide whether I should buy a TRV-330 or TRV-730. What I am contemplating is whether the tradeoff of 18x/500x tele on the 730 as compared to the 25x/700x of the 330 is woth the the greater resolution of stills (1070k pixels)of the TRV-730 as compared to the 330's 480k. Is there going to be a noticeable difference in stills on the 730? And is the loss of telephoto going to matter on the TRV-730? Also is the MPEG feature on the 730 that big a deal? I figure in a few years we will be sending full-fledged video over the Internet anyway- I want a camera that is going to be lasting me for the future but if MPEG is not really going to be necessary in the future, why worry about it now.
