I don't know of any "waterproof" digital cameras, only a few digital cameras that have housings made for them.

The smallest and most economical rigid camera & housing is the #SODSCP1 Sony P1 Digital Still Camera for $649.00 and the #SOMPKP1 Sony Marine Pack Housing f/P1 for $225.00. There is also a marine color correction filter and a video light with arm & tray available. See at www.sony.com.

This assembly can be taken to 100' underwater, and is also a very compact, lightweight combination abovewater.

Alternatively, there are EWA-Marine housings available for several digital cameras. These are flexible PVC enclosures good to 30'. For example, there is the #DCA2 EWA-Marine Housing ($199.00) for the #OL225260 Olympus C-3040 Digital Camera ($749.00). See at www.ewa-marine.com.
