: Looking for a scubawider wide angle lens. This was made by aquacraft. It slips over the nikonos lens
: to obtain a wide angle. Does anyone know of a manufacturer for this type??
Dick:
We no longer carry this product. We do sell the screw-on #S62001 Sea & Sea 16mm W.A. Conversion Lens f/35mm for $323.00. The #S01400 Sea & Sea Optical Viewfinder is #115.00.
The screw-on Subatec Subawider III Wide Angle Adapter offered 17mm conversion with a 35mm lens, and 13mm fish-eye conversion with a 28mm lens. It was offered with a optical viewfinder included.
Although marketed by Aquacraft many years ago, this product WAS manufactured by Subatec of Switzerland (ph #021-39 27 77), and last distibuted in the US by Akimbo Inc in Santa Barbara CA (ph #805-682-7161). I don't know if it still available.
For further assitance with the S&S Conversion Lens, please call us at 800-334-3549 x42 or 312-421-6000 x42.
