: I have a Aquaflash 28 with a remote sensor(TTL ?).
: I can get the flash to work with out the remote sensor
: But when I attach the sensor, it will not work.
: Can the sensor be replaced?
: Is it worth the cost?
: Also, The battery cover is not in the best of shape,
: do you have replacement parts for it?
: Thank you.
Scott:
As you figured out, you can use the HAF28 in a Manual exposure mode by running the sync from the strobe head directly to the camera, by-passing the sensor. You can then choose between 1/4 and Full Power Output.
The #HUPT28 Helix TTL Remote Sensor can be purchased for $125.00 ($175.00 with TTL Sync Cord included). This Sensor gives you the very useful TTL/Slave/Auto modes. Some prefer Manual exposures, but I'd prefer the versatility of the sensor.
#HUP-HIC Aquaflash Inner Battery Caps are once again available for $19.95.
