: : Just a note to test any first time submerges in a five gallon bucket, I unfortunatly did not on a new EWA bag and found out the hard way, a seam was not properly welded and leaked salt water (ouch) !!!!!

: I'm truly sorry your camera got wet.
: Learning the hard way is usually MY method. But you are SO right. You must pressure test ANY housing by immersion of the empty housing before diving with your camera. Not just EWA-Marine, but any housing. Or really make sure you have that camera insured.
: I assume you've contacted EWA-Marine at www.ewa-marine.com or the US distributor RTS, Inc at 631-242-6801 if the warranty still applies.

Yes Dennis I returned the bag to HELIX where I purchased it off of EBAY, , Helix suggested I return it to RTS, but I would rather return it to the place of purchase, luckily my canon eos IX is only showing a little green around the screws, but still functions normally, Just got a link for a housing for the Canon D30 , http://www.uk-germany.com/english/uwg_digital_canon_eosd30.html
Now this would need insurance !!!!
