I have 2 Sea and Sea 350's and 2 Ikelite SS200's. Both have their good and bad sides. If the Ikelite could be a bit more reliable - it would be my favorite - hands down.
Why.
1) The aiming light is better in the Ikelite. Important for macro. Plus, I don't have to carry an additional aimimg light.
2) The charger is better in the Ikelite (Smartcharger)
3) The housing lets me pull the battery in the Ikelite right out for recharging. Easy on a livaboard when the charging station is full and you want to charge in your room but don't want to carry wet gear around.
4) The Ikelite has a 1/8 power setting which is good for CFWA stuff.
Why Not.
1) My Ikelites break more frequenly. Not full floods but electronics. This seems to be a common complaint among fellow photographers. The good thing is that Ikelite fixes-em-fast. The bad thing is that when your on a bout in the middle of nowhere - who cares how fast they fix-em.
2) The controls are more difficult to use when you wear cold water gloves - like I do.
3) I like the light quality of the 350's with a diffuser. It also gets my 1/8 power setting but I have to swap it on the go - a pain.
All in my opinion.
