: I've just acquired a Sea&Sea 20mm lens for my Nikonos. I am now loking or a suitable finder to go with it.

: I can see that there are two types of (Sea&Sea) finder that are targeted at the 20mm. One is a little over $100. The other is described as high-eyepoint and costs well over $300.

: Is one that much better than the other? Is the cheaper one going to cause me problems?

: Thanks, Andrew

Andrew:

#S01500 S&S High Eyepoint Multi-Finder $255.00
#S01400 S&S Optical View Finder $115.00

The #S01500 offers multi-lens usage (15/20/35mm) w/o hassling with masks, full image is viewable several inches from optic, uses parallax correction marks in the finder, and offers a bigger window to look thru.

The #S01400 is more compact, uses inter-changeable opaque masks for 16/20/35mm (requiring a small screwdriver), and has dial-in parallax correction.

They are both good, the #S01500 is better.
